How the clinic began...
Several years ago, a free healthcare weekend was sponsored by a local civic organization. This clinic provided free dental and medical care to unserved/underserved people from this area. Many patients waited all night long in a school parking lot to be seen the next day.
This experience touched the hearts of many professionals and volunteers who were involved with the clinic. They joined with other healthcare workers, business owners, and community members to explore ways to provide necessary care on a more regular basis. As a result, the 5:16 Clinic was born.
It is estimated that 20% of Pulaski County residents do not receive necessary health care due to costs or high deductibles.
The 5:16 Clinic is designed to fill in the gap for employed individuals and their families who are uninsured or underinsured.
Eligible patients will be seen at the clinic free of charge. No third party payments will be billed.
The facility, located at 810 E Mt Vernon St, Somerset, KY 42501, has four dental rooms and one medical exam room. See Patient Information page for more information about our offerings and who qualifies.

Cleanings, Gum Disease, Treatments, Fillings and Extractions
Medical Services
Basic health maintenance and wellness exams for all ages, as well as management of chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, COPD, arthritis, diabetes, etc.
